Bustle is trading its current digs for twice as much space in Midtown South.
The online women’s magazine inked a lease for 34,100 square feet of office space at Columbia Property Trust’s [TRDataCustom] 315 Park Avenue South, Crain’s reported. Bustle plans to take two of the nine floors — the 11th and 12th floors — that Credit Suisse is vacating when its lease expires in April 2017. Bustle would vacate its space at 158 West 27th Street.
The 20-story building, which Columbia bought in 2015 for roughly $350 million, recently embarked on a $4 million renovation of the property. Asking rents at the building range from the high-$80s to the $90s per square foot.
The details of Bustle’s deal were not immediately available. Transwestern’s Rory Murphy, Jonathan Tootell and Lindsay Ornstein represented Bustle. Andrew Wiener, David Berkey and David Young of L&L Holding Company represented Columbia.
Equinox recently signed a 20-year lease for 44,000 square feet at the building. [Crain’s] — Kathryn Brenzel
