Bed Bath & Beyond signed two 10-year office leases for a combined 79,000 square feet at separate Jack Resnick & Sons-owned properties in Hudson Square.
This summer, the home goods retailer will take 27,778 square feet across the entire 11th floor of 250 Hudson Street for a photo studio, the New York Post reported. Next year, Bed Bath & Beyond and its home decor subsidiary One Kings Lane will set up a 51,576-square-foot design studio on the fourth floor of 315 Hudson Street, moving from the eighth floor.
Asking rents at the buildings are between $75 to $90 per square foot, according to the Post. Douglas Elliman’s Peter Gross and Jim Gross represented Bed Bath & Beyond in the deals. Jack Resnick & Sons was represented in-house and by Newmark Grubb Knight Frank’s David Falk.
In 2014, Bed Bath & Beyond took 30,000 square feet at 5 West 125th Street. The same year, it leased 100,000 square feet at Liberty View Industrial Plaza in Sunset Park.
