The priciest single-family listing to hit the market in Brooklyn last month was a garage turned into a luxe three-bedroom townhouse.
The home, at 14 College Place in Brooklyn Heights, was listed for $11.5 million last month, according to data provided by PropertyShark. The two-story home was built in 1920 and originally served as a car garage. In 2013, the home sold for $5 million, slightly below its $5.2 million asking price — which made it the third most expensive home on the market in Brooklyn at the time. The townhouse was gut renovated in 2014.
Meanwhile in Queens, the most expensive single-family listing to come onto the market in January was a mansion in Little Neck. The home spans more than 6,000 square feet and was built in 2009.
