Don Peebles has lowered expectations for his Hamptons mansion, and relisted the home with $4 million knocked off the asking price.
The developer first listed the home at 1100 Brick Kiln Road for $14 million in March of 2016. It was pulled from the market in August, and is now back for sale for just under $10 million, the New York Post reported.
Peebles also switched brokers from Sotheby’s International Realty [TRDataCustom] to Douglas Elliman.
The 7,000-square-foot home has five bedrooms and five full bathrooms, and features a three-story spiral marble staircase and marbled foyer, according to the listing. The main house has three fireplaces. There are two guest homes and a swimming pool on the grounds.
Peebles, who has toyed with the idea of running for New York City mayor, paid $5.4 million for the home in 2007, records show. [NYP] — Miriam Hall
