From LLNYC: When we heard that Chris Noth, the actor who portrayed Mr. Big on “Sex and the City,” had bought himself a new apartment, we couldn’t help but wonder … would Carrie Bradshaw approve?

Noth, who is also known for playing the bad husband, Peter Florrick, on CBS’s “The Good Wife” and Detective Mike Logan on “Law and Order,” paid $1.85 million for this nice little co-op at 139 East 66th Street on the Upper East Side, per city records.

While it’s a perfectly sweet place, it’s nowhere near as grand as the apartment Noth lived in in the show (not to mention the gigantic place he bought Carrie in the movie). This unit has two bedroom, two bathroom, and has been completely renovated, according to the listing with Ileana Lopez-Balboa and Deanna Kory of Corcoran.

Noth can enjoy the unit’s high and beamed ceilings, crown moldings, “loft-like formal expanse” and wood-burning fireplace. According to city records, he also owns an apartment at 35 East 9th Street downtown.
