The Real Deal’s constantly evolving research database, TRData, has added over 250 completed transactions that occurred in New York City in July. This brings our Deal Sheet to 40,000 completed deals that encompass retail and office leasing, commercial building sales and financing transactions. These thousands of deals can be viewed and sorted on TRData to help a tenant or landlord find the right broker, the right neighborhood or even track trends in a particular borough.

To view the largest deals in the database from the last month, you’ll first need to select the type of deal you’re interested in learning more about. Selecting “Office Leasing” from “Filter by Type” results in over 127 pages of office leases going back 10 years. To narrow these results, select a date range in “Filter by Date.” Choosing office leasing deals between July 1 and Aug. 1, 2017, results in 53 transactions. The largest of these by square footage is a 580,000-square-foot lease in George Comfort and Son’s 498 Seventh Avenue, followed by Spotify’s three-floor lease at 4 World Trade Center.

Other types of deals can be similarly filtered and analyzed. If you were to filter for commercial sales that occurred in Manhattan during July 2017 that accounted for 100,000 square feet or more, you’d find three completed transactions in our database. The most expensive of these transactions is Columbia Property Trust’s purchase of 49 percent of the leasehold at 114 Fifth Avenue for $220 million.

If you’d like to see your own completed deals appear on The Real Deal, submit those here or email them to deals@therealdeal.com.
