Irma is about to strike South Florida. Watch its devastating power on these livestreams

Multiple cameras are capturing the storm as it heads toward South Florida

The hurricane that ravaged the Caribbean and left at least 25 dead is expected to strike the heart of South Florida on Sunday morning, skidding along the coastal areas of the southwestern part of the state, according to the National Weather Service.

Irma’s core is expected to hit the Florida Keys by Sunday, with the eye slated to rip through the cities of Key West and Marathon, the New York Times reported.

Entire neighborhoods from Naples to Tampa Bay could be underwater before the weekend’s over, though it appears Miami will be spared a direct hit, the latest forecasts show.

Hurricane Irma was downgraded to a Category 3 storm on Saturday morning, with winds recorded at 125 miles per hour. The storm is expected to strengthen as it runs back into mainland Florida.

Gov. Rick Scott ordered over 6 million people to evacuate their homes.
