Linda Macklowe must close on her $14.4 million apartment at 432 Park Avenue by Friday, a Manhattan judge has ruled.

The estranged wife of developer Harry Macklowe filed a lawsuit earlier this month claiming the developer was forcing her to close on the 78th floor condominium despite filing plans to downsize the unit.

But on Monday, Judge David Cohen said Linda must purchase the apartment — or walk away. “I fail to see any irreparable harm in requiring Mrs. Macklowe to do what she’s required to do under the contract,” said the judge, according to the New York Post.

On Monday, Linda’s attorney, Adam Leitman Bailey, said Harry is “not a man who can be trusted.” He continued: “The word shyster comes up.”

According to the Post, that characterization prompted a sharp response from Cohen, who said, “I think, generally speaking, some people might perceive that as derogatory.” [NYP]E.B. Solomont
