Barry Diller and Diane Von Furstenberg are the newest investors in co-working company NeueHouse.
The power couple co-led a recent financing round in the company alongside Hong Kong-based Great Eagle Holdings, the Wall Street Journal reported. It’s not clear how much they raised.
NeueHouse inked a 10-year lease for its headquarters at ATCO Properties & Management’s 373 Park Avenue South in 2015. The company also rents space at the CBS Building on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles. In New York, NeueHouse has 1,200 members, who are charged between $1,000 and $10,000 each month (depending on the space used), according to the Journal.
In October, Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced that he had brokered a deal to revive plans for Diller’s Pier 55, a performing arts center that would sit on the Hudson River. Diller had canceled the project in September, citing escalating costs and a lawsuit bankrolled by Douglas Durst. [WSJ] — Kathryn Brenzel
