With all that buying comes some selling. Isaac Kassirer, in partnership with Harbor Group International, is in contract to sell a 15-building portfolio in the Bronx to a group of investors led by Ben and Joe Soleimani for $65 million, The Real Deal has learned.

The properties comprise more than one-third of the 38-building “Bronx 1000” portfolio, which Virginia-based Harbor Group and Kassirer’s Emerald Equity Group bought for $140 million in 2016.

The 15 buildings contain about 300 rent-stabilized apartments and are located in the Bronx’s Mott Haven and Fordham neighborhoods.

Westwood Realty Associates’ Steven Vegh is the broker on the deal. Kassirer, Soleimani and Vegh declined to comment.

Ben and Joe Soleimani, who runs ABJ Properties and are part of an investor group known as Sierra Capital Group, is particularly active in Harlem. He frequently acquires small multifamily packages there.

Kassirer, a rising multifamily investor, has been scooping up a bevy of Upper Manhattan rentals recently. He is in contract on 838 West End Avenue for $65 million, and is also buying six buildings on the Upper West Side and in Harlem from Orbach Group for roughly $160 million total. Three of the latter set of buildings remain under contract.
