A home renovation gone wrong has pitted actress Jennifer Esposito against her East Hampton contractor.

Esposito alleges the contractor’s work on her roof badly damaged the wooden floors of her vacation home, while contractor Randall Soto of Solo Construction says the actress, who was formerly married to actor Bradley Cooper, is refusing to pay him, according to the New York Post.

In a video she posted on Facebook last week, Esposito films herself walking through water-damaged areas. “I have no words for how much damage this has done to my home, to me, to my boyfriend,” she said to the camera. Esposito claims the house is uninhabitable due to mold caused by the renovation.

Soto, however, called the actress a liar. “She’s making excuses,” he told the Post.

He initiated the legal dispute with Esposito seeking the $65,000, which he claims he’s owed. [NYP]Erin Hudson
