Like Gwyneth Paltrow before her, Meryl Streep is done with Tribeca, apparently. The actress has put her River Loft penthouse on the market asking $24.6 million.
Streep and her husband, sculptor Donald Gummer, closed on the penthouse for $10.1 million in 2006, Curbed reported. Douglas Elliman’s Jan Hashey and Steve Halprin have the listing.
The four-bedroom apartment at 92 Laight Street (the alternate address is 416 Washington Street) spans nearly 4,000 square feet. It’s surrounded on three sides by a 10-foot-wide terrace and has direct elevator access.
Last year, Streep bought a mid-century home in the foothills above Pasadena, California for $3.6 million. It was reportedly the first time the single-story home, built in 1959 by architects Whitney Smith & Wayne Williams, had changed hands in nearly 50 years.
In March 2017, Paltrow sold her River Lofts pad for $10 million. It had been on the market for $14.3 million.
Another River Lofts apartment is currently on the market asking $5.5 million. [Curbed] — Meenal Vamburkar
