There were 10 contracts signed in Brooklyn’s luxury market last week for a total of about $31.5 million.
The properties were split between seven townhouses and three condos, and they went for an average price of roughly $3.1 million, according to the latest report from Stribling & Associates. The firm defines the borough’s luxury market as all homes priced at $2 million or higher.
Both numbers were down from the week before, when the market saw 13 contracts signed for about $41.1 million overall.
The most expensive deal last week was for a townhouse at 65 Cranberry Street in Brooklyn Heights, which went for $6.5 million. The five-bedroom home spans 3,696 square feet and contains 10 rooms.
The second most expensive deal was for a townhouse at 433 State Street in Boerum Hill, which sold for $3.7 million. The five-bedroom, two-family home spans 3,400 square feet.
Other major deals last week included a condo at 145 President Street in Carroll Gardens for $3.45 million and a townhouse at 55 South 5th Street in Williamsburg for $3.09 million. – Eddie Small
