UPDATED, Jan. 30, 2020, 10:31 p.m.: Bravo is welcoming a woman to the cast of “Million Dollar Listing New York.”

Compass broker Kirsten Jordan has been cast as the show’s newest co-star, according to sources. She’s one of 11 agents on the Hudson Advisory Team, which was founded by Stephen Ferrara and Clayton Orrigo. Jordan, Orrigo, Compass and Bravo declined to comment.

Jordan would be the first female to join the cast of Bravo’s hit reality TV show that follows real estate brokers selling homes in New York City. Long-time cast members including Ryan Serhant and Fredrik Eklund have become household names as a result of their roles. (Douglas Elliman’s Jessica Cohen was originally cast but was fired before completing the first season.)

The show has been on-air for eight seasons and has added two new brokers to the cast since 2017: Corcoran Group’s Steve Gold and Triplemint’s Tyler Whitman. Industry leaders, including Elizabeth Ann Stribling-Kivlan, now Compass’s senior managing director, have called on Bravo to diversify its casting.

“I very much hope it is true,” Stribling-Kivlan said of potential casting of a woman. “I think it would be a really good representation of the industry.”

She added that she still thinks Bravo could do more to diversify the cast.

“Diversity and inclusivity is the most important thing to me,” she said. “There’s a lot of different people in New York City and we represent everyone and I will keep fighting and talking about showing the full breadth [of who we are].”

The Los Angeles and Miami versions of Million Dollar Listing have both included female brokers, Douglas Elliman’s Tracy Tutor and Samantha DeBianchi of DeBianchi Real Estate.
