Canadian tennis star Milos Raonic is hoping to serve an ace with the sale of his penthouse co-op in West Chelsea.
The unit at 470 West 24th Street is on the market for nearly $10 million, Dirt reported. The 2,700-square-foot co-op is part of the neighborhood’s London Terrace apartment complex, known for celebrity tenants and a tense battle over a swimming pool.
Raonic picked up the unit in 2019 for $7.55 million, an apparent steal after it was last listed for $8.4 million. While the seller of the unit was a trust, Dirt reported the seller to be “Sopranos” creator David Chase, who reportedly paid $9.65 million to purchase the unit in 2012.
The three-bedroom, three-and-a-half bathroom unit comes with 200 feet of wraparound terraces and 1,000 square feet of outdoor living space. Other features of the unit include wood-burning fireplaces and various views of the Hudson River, Hudson Yards and the High Line.
Amenities in the building include enhanced security features, a fitness center and a landscaped roof terrace. Mark Thomas Amadei of Sotheby’s International Realty holds the listing.

The complex has been home to a number of celebrities over the years. Dirt reported Tim Gunn, Chelsea Clinton, Pete Davidson, Malcolm Gladwell and Nicole Kidman were among past residents and actor Alec Baldwin reportedly toured a penthouse at the complex in 2016.
Raonic is one of the most successful Canadian tennis players in recent memory, winning eight career titles and reaching the No. 3 ranking of the ATP in 2016, despite playing during a notoriously top-heavy era of the sport. He has never won a Grand Slam tournament, though he reached the finals at Wimbledon in 2016.
The 31-year-old, ranked No. 156 in the world, has struggled with injuries in recent years and hasn’t played in a tournament since July.
