Floyd Mayweather Jr. has shelled out hundreds of millions in his quest to become one of New York’s top real estate dealmakers. Now he’s got the apartment to match.

After weeks of house hunting, the 15-time boxing world champion rented an apartment at the Baccarat Hotel and Residences for $100,000 a month, the New York Post first reported. The unit, dubbed the “Gemstone Terrace,” spans the 18th and 19th floors of Tribeca Associates’ Midtown building.

Mayweather’s latest real estate move comes two months after he embarked on a spending spree, investing in apartment and office portfolios across New York, Chicago and Miami. One of his deals included a $100 million stake in a joint venture with Go Partners, which he used to soft launch his new real estate company, Vada Properties.

Considered the world’s wealthiest boxer, with career earnings of more than a billion dollars, has been on the lookout for new digs since at least late November when the Post chronicled his search across Midtown and Downtown Manhattan. He reportedly viewed a penthouse in Soho asking $150,000 a month, which was once the home of Uber CEO Travis Kalanick and a $50 million Gilded Age mansion on 54th Street.

Serhant’s Talia McKinney, who the Post identified as the broker at showings with Mayweather and his entourage, declined to comment.

Mayweather’s new apartment at 20 West 53rd Street spans 4,200 square feet and has five bedrooms and five bathrooms. It also features an eat-in chef’s kitchen and 3,100 square feet of outdoor space. Amenities in the building include access to the Baccarat Hotel’s services, including a fitness center, pool and concierge.

Listing agents Ryan Garson and Brian Lewis of Compass declined to comment.

Mayweather launched his investment streak in mid-October when he bought an Upper Manhattan apartment portfolio from Black Spruce Management’s Josh Gotlib for $402 million. The portfolio included 1,000 affordable housing units across 60 buildings and ranks as one of the largest deals in the city this year.

He spent about $100 million investing in nine of SL Green’s skyscrapers in the city and coughed up more for a stake in 601W Companies’ $10 billion office portfolio, which includes buildings such as 410 10th Avenue in Hudson Yards, the Old Post Office Building in Chicago and the Harborside office complex in Jersey City. He also invested in the former Versace Mansion, which is now a luxury hotel in Miami Beach.

He spent another $100 million on a $3 billion luxury and market-rate rental portfolio with Go Partners, a joint venture between Meyer Orbach of Orbach Affordable Housing Solutions and Black Spruce’s Gotlib.

Last month, he sold his waterfront mansion in Miami Beach for $22 million. He listed his home in Las Vegas for $12.5 million.
