Fleeing city slickers looking to put down roots in suburban Connecticut could help save some hurting real estate markets, according to the Stamford Advocate.

Agents across the state are reporting a surge in prospective buyers who now live in the city but are thinking twice about staying after seeing the effects of the coronavirus pandemic. So far, much of the activity has been in the highest-priced segments of properties, but the pool of buyers for lower-priced homes is expected to grow.
