About: Donald J. Trump was born in Queens, New York in 1946. He is the 45th president of the United States, the founder of the Trump Organization, and a controversial figure in New York real estate for decades. After attending the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business, Trump began to work for his family’s Queens-based real estate company, which he expanded and turned into the Trump Organization. In 2016, The Real Deal ranked Trump as the sixth most active condo developer in Manhattan since condos were first built in the city during the mid-1960s. Forbes in 2016 pegged his net worth at $3.7 billion.

Trump expanded a real estate business founded by his grandparents by pursuing big-name projects in Manhattan and then expanding and licensing his brand name for use on projects across the country. Through the Trump Organization, Donald Trump has been involved with residential and commercial real estate projects, including hotels, resorts, casinos, and residential towers.
What are Donald Trump's real estate holdings?
His New York real estate includes the Trump Tower at 725 Fifth Avenue, 40 Wall Street, a large stake in the commercial office building 1290 Sixth Avenue, among others, with a total portfolio of several million square feet. As of 2016, he had 188 or more corporate entities that had dollar value or generated income.
