Two-time titleholder Ben Caballero has set his third Guinness World Record for home sales.
In 2020, Caballero, the founder and CEO of HomesUSA.com, sold 6,438 homes worth more than $2.46 billion. That’s an average of more than 120 homes a week, or 17 home sales a day, every single day of the year. The year before, Caballero had 5,778 home sales, totaling $2.25 billion in volume.
HomesUSA made the announcement on Wednesday that Caballero is once again the official holder of the Guinness World Record title for “Most annual home sales transactions through MLS by an individual sell side real estate agent – current.”
Caballero specializes in new home sales, working directly with more than 60 builders in Houston, Dallas-Ft. Worth, Austin, and San Antonio. He is also a leader in proptech, developing HomesUSA.com’s in-house SaaS listings management and marketing platform. Caballero credits the platform for his individual record-setting production.
“One Guinness World Record title is the honor of a lifetime. But three? It’s simply stunning,” said Caballero. “Developing leading-edge real estate technology rewards me for doing something I love every day. This award certainly is the icing on the cake.”
Caballero has been ranked the No. 1 real estate agent in the U.S. by RealTrends since 2013. Before being recognized by Guinness, in 2015, he became the first real estate agent to exceed $1 billion in total home sales.
Caballero was awarded his first Guinness World Record title in 2018 for selling 3,556 homes in 2016. His second was in 2019 when he broke his record with 5,801 home sales in 2018. Between 2018 and 2020, he was the only agent to exceed $2 billion in total home sales in a single year.
