Movers: Partners Real Estate hires DFW brokerage head

Plus new positions for Rogers Healy, KAI, and Weitzman

➤ Houston-based Partners Real Estate added Evan Altemus to oversee brokerage services for its new DFW office, with a focus on multi-tenant sales. He joins the company from his previous role of representing buyers and sellers for Northmarq, where he closed approximately 70 investment sales transactions over seven years.

➤ Rogers Healy and Associates Commercial Real Estate hired Tony Kurtulan as a commercial real estate agent. He brings over 25 years of experience in real estate, software development, classic auto restoration, sales consulting and insurance.

“Tony knows business, and he’s a valuable addition to our group because commercial real estate is all about business,” says Steve Tiemann, a veteran broker who was also recently appointed to a position with RHA Commercial earlier this year.

➤ Dallas-based Weitzman landed a new chief investment officer to advance the firm’s acquisition and financing initiatives.

Stephen Schmidt will focus on bringing the firm new investment opportunities and additional financing relationships as it attempts to enhance its reach in property management, asset management, and development.

Schmidt spent 15 years at Dallas-based Cypress Equities, where he led the development and acquisition of more than 50 real estate investments totaling more than $2 billion.

➤ Dallas-based architect KAI promoted H. John Vetter II, PE to principal-electrical engineering for its Dallas-Fort Worth office.

His previous role was national electrical engineering subject matter expert. Vetter previously worked as an engineer for Dallas-based Smith Seckman Reid, as well as Dallas-based Aguirre Roden.
