Shayan Hamidi is looking to streamline residential real estate’s tech landscape.
The Dallas-based entrepreneur is the founder and CEO of Rechat, a “super app” with an array of tools to help agents with the home-selling process, including relationships, marketing and transaction management, the Dallas Morning News reported.
Agents are often tasked with mastering 15 digital tools, which fail to communicate with each other and lack mobile-friendly interfaces, Hamidi said. That results in agents being engrossed in administrative tasks rather than focusing on closing deals. Hamidi’s Rechat aims to centralize all of those tools, reducing the learning curve and enhancing productivity.
“You can have trillions of products out there, but if people aren’t using them, it doesn’t matter,” Hamidi told the outlet.
Rechat blends functionalities ranging from social media campaigns, videos and websites to market analysis, transaction details and compliance documents. The app’s interface synchronizes with services like Google and Outlook, simplifying workflow.
Upon listing a property, the app generates a comprehensive marketing campaign that includes social media posts and videos, automating processes that previously required manual effort. Over 10,000 users are subscribed to Rechat, which has a strong focus on luxury markets and partnerships with high-end brokerages.
One of Rechat’s novel features is Lucy, an AI-powered tool tailored to the real estate industry. Lucy assists agents by creating presentations, sending reminders, drafting emails and conducting home searches for specific clients, the outlet said. Hamidi believes this AI tool will catalyze a major transformation in the industry, augmenting agents’ capabilities and allowing them to undertake more substantial tasks.
