There may be a buyer lined up to keep the orders flowing of porterhouse steak, Alaskan king crab legs and more at Elbow East restaurant, a Southold favorite.

The 2,100-square-foot eatery has been on the market for the last year with a $1.5 million price tag, according to Behind the Hedges. The property sits steps away from Kenny’s Beach.

Owner Billy Berliner said that he has “someone looking [who] doesn’t want to change anything,” but did not identify the interested party.

Berliner and his sister Katherine Rutkowski bought the restaurant in 1989. He says he’s selling to enjoy retirement.

The restaurant’s two affiliated establishments, Elbow Room and Cliff’s Elbow Too, are owned by different parties and are not up for sale.
