According to the latest batch of New York City market reports, office leasing in Midtown so far this year is down 31 percent year-over-year, average rent in Manhattan didn’t change much in June, and the number of multifamily sales picked back up in May. Check out more in our roundup of the week’s real estate market reports.

July 2016 Midtown Manhattan office leasing: CBRE

Midtown Manhattan leasing activity totaled 1.2 million square feet in June, 3 percent below the five-year average. Year-to-date leasing is down 31 percent compared to the same period last year. Read the full report here.
