How does a star broker sell a $65 million home? This week on Deconstruct, we’re taking you on a tour of one of the priciest homes currently on the market in Los Angeles.
In this episode, Compass broker Aaron Kirman walks us through 1108 Wallace Ridge — a 19,000-square-foot spec home in Beverly Hills. The home was built by developer and architect Michael Chen and is situated in the secluded Trousdale Estates neighborhood. Tune in here for the echo of footsteps on the home’s marble floors and learn more about what it takes to close a deal this size.
Even for LA, $65 million is a lot. Few homes sell at this price point, but the past couple months have had some big-ticket action.
Among them was the Brentwood mansion that was sold to the controversial record investor and media mogul Scooter Braun, who was recently involved in a legal dispute with musician Taylor Swift. Coming in at $57 million was Kanye’s new Malibu crib. This beach house was designed by the rapper’s favorite architect, Tadao Ando, and hit the listings in May 2020. In August, The Weeknd bought a $70 million mansion after selling his old one to Madonna.
