Tobey Maguire buys Clive Wilkinson’s WeHo home for $3.4M

An entity linked to actor Tobey Maguire scooped up a new pad in West Hollywood for $3.4 million, or $1,036 a square foot.

The seller was Clive Wilkinson, known for designing Google’s headquarters.

Billy Rose and Eric Lavey of the Agency held the listing. Jessica Pasternak of John Aaroe Group represented the buyer.

The 3,258-square-foot contemporary-style residence, designed by Wilkinson himself, first hit the market in April 2016 with an asking price of $4.5 million. It was more recently listed for $3.7 million.

Wilkinson purchased the home in 2003 for $690,000, according to property records.

The three-bedroom, four-bathroom property has an open floor plan with a lounge/library upstairs. There is also a 48-foot saltwater pool outside.

Maguire recently sold his 3,600-square-foot Santa Monica home on Princeton Street for $3.3 million, after listing it for $2.9 million in October 2016. [LAT]Subrina Hudson
