This week in La La Land, the fireworks did not deter the stars from selling their homes. Vince Vaughn was the latest celeb to list a home: a 3,000-square-foot house in the Hills asking $2.7 million. Nearby, Mindy Kaling already sold her home, but at a $100,000 loss.

Over in Calabasas, the controversy-laden Rob Kardashian unloaded his cul-de-sac residence for $2.4 million. Or rather, his mother Kris Jenner did. The Kardashian-Jenner matriarch bought the 4,200-square-foot property for her son last year for $2.3 million. Built in 2009, the home has four bedrooms and five bathrooms. Tomer Fridman, newly of Compass, was the listing agent. Kardashian is likely headed to court after posting nude photos of his ex, Blac Chyna, on social media.

A la Frank Underwood, actor Kevin Spacey sold his home in a secret off-market deal for $11 million. The actor bought the 6,600-square-foot Los Feliz compound for $2.1 million in 1997. The 1920s-era Tudor-style property, which sits on about an acre of land on the western edge of Los Feliz, has five bedrooms and four bathrooms.

Meanwhile in Malibu, a fittingly English Country-style manor traded hands between two film bigwigs. Chris Columbus, the director of the first two “Harry Potter” movies, paid $18 million to buy former Paramount head Jonathan Dolgen’s Malibu Colony pad. The property comprises five bedrooms and six bathrooms. It features a screening room, a gourmet kitchen and a wine cellar. Outside, there’s a large deck with a hot tub and 48 feet of beach frontage. The Agency’s Jack Friedkin and Leonard Rabinowitz had the listing, while Chris Cortazzo of Coldwell Banker represented Columbus. Dolgen bought the property for $3.8 million in 1999.

Vaughn is looking for a profit on his crash pad in the Hills. He bought it for $2.4 million three years ago from actress Kate Bosworth. The farmhouse-style property has three bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms and features a trellised front courtyard, a master bedroom with a balcony, a den complete with media equipment, vaulted ceilings and a yard. Outside, there’s also a lap lane swimming pool and a small bamboo garden.

But not everyone selling makes a profit — no matter how famous. Mindy Kaling, in fact, took a loss. The actress and writer sold a property in Hollywood Hills West for $1.6 million — less than the $1.7 million she paid for it four years ago. The Sunset Strip digs spans 1,600 square feet. It has two bedrooms, 2.75 bathrooms, a galley-style kitchen, and a step-down living room with floor-to-ceiling windows. Edward Fitz of the Agency had the listing. KJ Marmon of Hilton & Hyland represented the buyer.
