For Tristan Thompson, there’s nothing like being in crawling distance from ex-girlfriend Khloé Kardashian, with whom he shares two children in Hidden Hills.
The Chicago Bulls NBA star has paid $12.5 million for a mansion at 25200 Jim Bridger Road, three doors down from the reality TV star, Page Six reported.
A trust associated with Tristan inked the deal for the 10,600-square-foot property in December, according to the U.S. Sun, after he sold his Encino home last May for $7.8 million.
Kanye West pulled a similar stunt in December 2021, paying $4.5 million for a home at 24877 Eldorado Meadow Road across the street from ex-wife Kim Kardashian, to be closer to their four kids.
Though neither Thompson nor Khloé has commented on the athlete’s living arrangements, the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star has shut down rumors that the two had reconciled romantically.
After publicly gushing over the serial cheater on his 32nd birthday this month, the 38-year-old co-founder of Good American clarified her “single” status by pointing out that “love is much bigger than relationships.”
Her 16,500-square-foot estate on 1.5 acres was identified in an overhead photo by Page Six, at 25085 Ashley Ridge Road. It’s three mansions away from Thompson’s.
Nonetheless, Thompson’s new Hampton’s-style estate has all the trappings for a growing family.
The two-story, white clapboard mansion has numerous gables, dormer windows and black shutters, with stone steps leading up to a black front door.
The six-bedroom, 10-bathroom house is at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac.
It has wood and stone floors, a large chef’s kitchen that opens to the family room, game room with wet bar, home theater, private office with a separate entrance, piano room, gym, formal living and dining rooms and a refrigerated wine cellar, according to the listing.
The master suite has dual baths and dual walk-in closets. There’s a guest suite with a private entrance.
Outside, there’s a pool and spa, covered patio with fireplace, rose garden and a half-basketball court.
Although the home was built in 2010, Thompson may have his eye on renovations. His deed details terms of the basketball star giving the estate a potential face-life, according to the Sun.
Brokers Marc and Hanna Shevin of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties held the listing.
