FAU stadium gets sponsor

Delray Acura and Delray Honda have signed on as the sponsors at Florida
Atlantic University’s new football stadium. Jim O’Neill, the company’s
president, gave the school $700,000 in return for naming rights to two
club levels. FAU has now signed 30 sponsorships for the $70 million
project, which will open in October. Earlier this year, the stadium
received a $2 million donation from donors Richard
and Barbara Schmidt. Schmidt is the head of real estate and
aviation firm Schmidt Cos. [SFBJ]
