Trump calls out Jon Stewart over “racist” rant

Developer Donald Trump posted a video on his YouTube channel (see video above) complaining about Jon Stewart’s apparently “racist” rant on “The Daily Show” in which Stewart mocked presidential hopeful Herman Cain’s response to recent sexual harassment allegations. Cain has faced a slew of accusations, including from another alleged victim who came forward today.

“It’s not what he said, but the way he said it,” Trump said. “The tone of his voice, the inflection. Unbelievable. When Jon Stewart does a horrible, horrible thing to the African American community, they leave him alone. Anybody else, deep deep trouble.”

In the recent segment, Stewart imitated Cain’s response to a question asked by Fox News. When Fox asked Cain if he had ever paid someone to resolve harassment claims, he said, “outside of the Restaurant
Association, absolutely not.”

Stewart parodied Cain’s answer, saying it was like answering a question about whether you’ve ever kidnapped a baby by saying, “Well, other than the Lindbergh boy, no.”
