Movers & Shakers: Franklin Street promotes Greg Matus to national role…and more

Greg Matus was promoted to senior vice president of investment sales at Franklin Street.

Matus, who joined the commercial brokerage in 2014 from Marcus & Millichap, will focus on growing Franklin Street’s investment sales division nationally. In a statement, Matus said he plans to double the investment sales team by the end of next year.

As regional managing partner, Matus tripled the firm’s employee count in its Miami and Broward offices. He’ll remain in that role until the company fills that position.

Franklin Street recently expanded to Orlando, and also promoted Lisa Jesmer to senior vice president of investor client accounts.

Dora Puig’s Luxe Living Realty brought on Joe Wagner as a sales consultant. Wagner worked as a real estate agent in New York City and Palm Beach in the hospitality, residential and multifamily sectors.

Mark E. Goldstein launched Jasper Realty Advisors, a full-service commercial real estate firm in Fort Lauderdale. Goldstein was previously a principal at Continental Real Estate Companies, also known as CREC, where he was the primarly leasing director for office buildings throughout South Florida.

Jasper Realty Advisors handles office, retail and warehouse tenant representation, receivership services and more, according to a press release.

Avatar Real Estate Services hired two new Realtor associates: Jeffrey Harakal and Ana Karina Jerez.

Harakal, a recent Miami transplant, will work out of Avatar’s South Miami office. Jerez will be based out of the firm’s Coconut Grove office. She was previously with Interinvestments Realty.

Keller Williams brought Eva Gonzalez back as an assistant team leader in Miami. She’ll work with Mark Lyon, the Miami office’s team leader.

Monument Real Estate Services hired Brandon Skinner as a regional manager. Skinner now oversees the company’s South Florida portfolio, including the recent addition of six apartment communities throughout the tri-county area. He was previously director of operations and regional manager for KPC Properties.
