Lamar Odom is no longer interested in keeping up with his Miami home.
The retired Los Angeles Lakers player, reality TV star and ex-husband of Khloé Kardashian listed his Pinecrest mansion at 9401 Southwest 63rd Court, according to published reports. Odom’s six-bedroom, 8,600-square-foot home is on the market with Douglas Elliman agent Bosco Vega. Vega could not immediately be reached for comment.
Property records show a trust in Odom’s name bought the sprawling 50,500-square-foot estate in 2009, the same year he married Kardashian. His purchase price is not available in public records. Odom played for the Los Angeles Clippers, the Dallas Mavericks and the Miami Heat, but he’s best known for his time with the Lakers.
His Pinecrest home features a pool and spa, covered terrace, a gourmet kitchen, media room, built in bar, and a tennis court. It was built in 2002. It’s on the market for about $600 per square foot. The listing says the house is being leased out.
A number of NBA players have owned homes in Pinecrest, including Dwyane Wade and Chris “Birdman” Anderson.
Earlier this month, retired Miami Heat player Anfernee “Penny” Hardaway listed his home nearby at 5940 Southwest 108 Street for $3.8 million, or $440 per square foot. Last year, Miami Heat guard Tyler Johnson bought a Pinecrest home for $4.87 million or $478 per square foot.
Michael Light of Miami Luxury Homes first reported Odom’s listing.
