Fashion designer Tomas Maier and his husband Andrew Preston just sold their oceanfront Gulf Stream home for $9.5 million, property records show.

David J. McCabe, acting as trustee of The East Bluff Trust, paid $1,515 per square foot for the 6,270-square-foot home at 3377 North Ocean Boulevard. Built in 1980, the two-story house features a pool and 100 feet of ocean frontage, records show.

Douglas Elliman’s Nicholas Malinosky and Randy Ely represented the sellers. Broker Jeremy Olsher of Mizner Residential Realty LLC brought the buyer. The home hit the market in November for $10.95 million, meaning it sold at a 13 percent discount off its original asking price.

Maier, who has designed his eponymous collection for nearly 20 years and worked as creative director for Bottega Veneta, paid $7.3 million for the home in 2006.

In 2014, Maier and Preston bought a Palm Beach mansion at 102 Jungle Road from President Trump’s ex-wife Ivana Trump. They have since been renovating the home with plans to move in, the Palm Beach Daily News reported.

Maier also works and lives in New York and Milan, and recently completed a vacation house in Maine designed by the Japanese architect Toshiko Mori, according to the Washington Post.

He joins other fashion designers like Andrew Rosen and Tommy Hilfiger who also own homes in South Florida.
