A pharmaceutical executive bought a Royal Palm Yacht & Country Club spec home for $6 million.
Records show Raymond Silcock and his wife, Houda, bought the Boca Raton home at 1220 Thatch Palm Drive from brothers Scott R. and Steven R. Dingle, president and vice president of SRD Building Corp., respectively.
SRD Building Corp. is a Boca Raton-based construction company that has built over 130 homes in the Royal Palm Yacht & Country Club neighborhood, according to its website.
Silcock is executive vice president and CFO of Perrigo, a Dublin, Ireland-based pharmaceutical company that sells affordable self-care products, according to its website. Its North American base is in Allegan, Michigan.
The Dingle brothers bought the land for $1.7 million last year and demolished the existing home, records show. They completed construction of the new home this year. The spec house was initially listed in November 2019 for $7.5 million. It was most recently asking $6.5 million in June.
David W. Roberts of Royal Palm Properties represented both parties in the deal.
The 5,228-square-foot house includes four bedrooms, four bathrooms, two half-bathrooms and a library. The outdoor area features a pool, two fire bowls, a three-car garage and views of the golf course.
The Royal Palm Yacht & Country Club neighborhood has been a popular destination for buyers this year. A financier couple spent $12 million on a spec mansion in the Royal Palm Yacht & Country Club earlier this month, and a billionaire businesswoman bought a newly built mansion for $15.9 million last month. Another mansion in the neighborhood sold for $9.4 million in September.
