Here’s the latest in South Florida real estate personnel news.
Alyssa Brody of Development Marketing Team and Alyssa Morgan and Jamie Blatt of the Inside Network are joining the sales team for Continuum Company’s planned La Baia North condominium in Bay Harbor Islands, according to a press release. Sales launched in October with Phil Gutman of PGutman LLC at the helm.
Brody is a New York-based real estate marketer and lawyer who left Compass in 2020 to start Development Marketing Team. Morgan left One Sotheby’s International Realty in October to launch the Inside Network, a Side-backed brokerage. She has $250 million in career sales, according to the release.
La Baia North is a planned 57-unit project. It is set to break ground in the fourth quarter, with construction expected to be completed in 2025, the release says.
In another Continuum announcement, the New York-based developer brought in Cullen Mahoney as senior development and acquisitions officer for Florida. Mahoney joins the team from a five-year stint at the Related Group, where he worked his way from law clerk associate to real estate development manager, LinkedIn shows. Mahoney has worked on more than $1 billion in real estate projects during his career, according to the release.
Ilonka Castillo jumped ship from Compass to Keyes Company’s Coral Gables office, according to a press release. Castillo has been an agent for more than 25 years, and closed more than $200 million in sales over the course of her career, according to a press release. Keyes’ recently acquired Boca Raton brokerage Mizner Grande Realty, which added 60 agents, bringing the brokerage to 3,600 agents in 58 Florida offices.
Illustrated Properties brought in Evelyn Yang to its Palm Beach Gardens West office. Yang joins the firm from Keller Williams Reserve, according to a release. Fluent in Mandarin, Yang specializes in helping Chinese buyers moving into Palm Beach County, the release says.

LandQwest Commercial, an Orlando-based commercial real estate firm with a statewide presence, appointed Daniel Butts as its first president, according to a press release. Butts left his role as director of leasing at Crossman & Company in January, according to LinkedIn. He has worked on more than $50 million in commercial deals, and has overseen more than 25 million square feet of leasing and management over the course of his career, the release says.
LandQwest’s founding principals, Mary Gentile, John Mounce, Rokki Rogan, head the firm.
