April condo sales in Palm Beach County dip slightly to $432M

$18M Palm Beach penthouse took top spot

April condo sales in Palm Beach County dipped slightly from March.

Brokers closed 851 condo sales totaling $432 million in April, compared with 942 sales totaling $461 million in March, MLS data from Redfin show. April sale prices ranged from $32,200 to $18 million, with a median price of $268,000. The price per square foot foot ranged from $48 to $2,805, with a median of $233 — just $1 higher than March’s median price per square foot.

In March, prices ranged from $55,000 to $10.7 million, with a median price of $265,000. The price per square foot ranged from $60 to $3,122, with a median of $232.

April’s priciest sale was spec developer Todd Michael Glaser and his partners’ flip of a Palm Beach penthouse to Terry Taylor, a car dealership mogul, for $18 million. Jill Eber with Coldwell Banker and Christopher Leavitt with Douglas Elliman represented the sellers of the penthouse atop the Tiffany & Co. building on Worth Avenue. Christian Angle Real Estate represented the buyer. The deal breaks down to $1,823 per square foot. It sold after 48 days on the market.

By contrast, last month’s most inexpensive sale was $58,000 for unit 30 at Lantana Gardens at 1300 South Broadway Street in Lantana. Anne Seppala with Atlantic Florida Properties had the listing. Emily Suarez with Signature International represented the buyer. The condo spent 34 days on the market. The sale breaks down to $94 per square foot.
