South Florida real estate firms keep hiring.
Harvey Hernandez’s Newgard Development Group hired Ivan Heredia as vice president of development, according to a press release. Heredia will oversee Newgard’s planned Natiivo Fort Lauderdale, a 40-story tower with 384 fully-furnished units designed for short-term rental. Heredia was previously managing director at Boca Raton-based Waypoint Residential, the release shows.
Miami-based Newgard also hired Mercedes Egana as a project manager, who will be working on three Miami River developments, the release shows. She was previously a senior project manager for Melo Group.
In October, Newgard hired the Related Group’s Javier Cuadros as senior vice president of development, and brought in Stephanie Adames as senior vice president of marketing.
In Boca Raton, SVN Commercial Partners added Michael Barashick to its investment sales team, and Lydia Montaigne, who will focus on industrial leasing in Palm Beach and Broward counties, a press release shows. The announcement follows the news last month that the firm is opening an office in West Palm Beach, its sixth in Florida.
Old Republic Title, a title insurance company based in Tampa, brought in Ariana Fodera Ojeda as an agency account manager for Miami-Dade County, a press release shows. In her new role, she will help law firms and title agencies obtain title insurance and support real estate deals across asset classes, the release shows.
