Amid rumors that Kevin Durant is planning to sign with the Miami Heat, the Oklahoma City basketball star is one step closer to selling his downtown Miami condo at 900 Biscayne.

The 3,800-square-foot unit was listed earlier this month with an asking price of $3.45 million. K Durant Enterprises owns the condo.

Listing agent Ben Moss, a Realtor with ONE Sotheby’s International Realty, told The Real Deal that a foreign buyer has signed a contract for the unit. Though Moss couldn’t confirm seller’s identity or the sale price, he said the contract is pending an inspection period.

The three-bedroom, five-bathroom residence overlooks Biscayne Bay. The MLS describes it as turnkey, with furnishings thrown in at an additional cost.

Michael Light of Miami Luxury Homes told TRD that he is representing the buyer — a Colombian building an investment portfolio in the area.

Though the size or price tag of that portfolio isn’t yet known, Light said the buyer plans on holding the properties he purchases for several years.

“He is not a flipper,” Light said. “He believes in the long-term value of Miami real estate.”

Durant is one of two athletes Moss is representing this month, with former NFL cornerback Asante Samuels also listing his compound in Southwest Ranches for $9.5 million.
