A penthouse at Soho’s 30 Crosby Street belonging to singer Alicia Keys and husband Swiss Beatz has entered into contract for $15 million, after an earlier $3 million price slash, Curbed reported.
In January, the couple cut the price on the 6,167-square-foot, five-bedroom, four-bathroom penthouse to $15 million, or $2.95 million less than its original listing price. They had purchased the apartment for $12.75 million in 2010 from performer Lenny Kravitz, who had invested in a significant renovation. Eric Malley of Sotheby’s International Realty had the listing.
The couple will make an exodus to the suburbs, having snagged Eddie Murphy’s 30-room New Jersey mansion for $12 million, as previously reported. [Curbed] —Hiten Samtani
