Rivers called a 25,000-square-foot penthouse at 1 East 62nd Street on the Upper East Side home, and was president of the condominium building’s board. She had attempted to sell the home several times, and most recently listed the palatial pad in 2012 for $29.5 million.

She also had a country estate in Connecticut’s tony Litchfield County, which she sold in 2013 for $4.4 million. The 76-acre spread boasts a single-family house and caretaker’s cottage, according to reports of the sale. [Forbes] and [Connecticut Magazine]Julie Strickland
