For $11 million, you can get a Midtown apartment, or your own private island with views of the New York City skyline! Television personality and supermodel Heidi Klum is considering the latter.
Klum recently checked out Tavern Island, a three and a half-acre private oasis just off the coast of Connecticut that comes with a 6,000-square-foot, six-bedroom Tudor mansion, according to the New York Post.
Other amenities include a 75-foot pool, a guest house, a boat house, a tea house, and, of course, a private beach.
Rick Higgins of Higgins Group Real Estate has the listing.
In the 1950s and 1960s, the island was owned by theater songwriter Billy Rose, who hosted parties with guests like Marilyn Monroe.
In September, Klum looked at Jon Bon Jovi’s Soho penthouse, which recently sold for $34 million to Austrian-American businessman Gerhard Andlinger. [NYP] — Tess Hofmann
