The spaceship-like mansion owned by the mom of Russia’s version of “Paris Hilton” hit the market once again last month for $12.2 million, making it the priciest home listed in the borough in September.
The 10-bedroom mansion in Mill Basin — owned by the mother of Russian heiress Galina Anisimova — has been on and off the market over the past three years and hasn’t had any luck finding a buyer. In 2013, it was listed for $30 million and then again last year for $17 million. Curbed reported the most recent price chop, noting the home as a Miami-style anomaly. Then, of course, there’s the property’s previous ties to the Colombo crime family. John Rosatti, a multi-millionaire with connections to the family, built and owned the mansion before selling it to Anisimova in the ’90s for $3 million, according to Business Insider.
Meanwhile in Queens, according to data provided by PropertyShark, a five-bedroom home in Whitestone was the borough’s priciest home listed last month.
