Susan Lucci’s Southampton estate under contract for $20M
The 11K sf home was first listed for $19.9M in 2014: report
The streak is over. Susan Lucci has found a buyer for her Southampton estate “Four Winds,” with the property going under contract for just under $20 million.
The “All My Children” actress, who won an Emmy in 1999 after being snubbed 18 times, listed the property back in 2014 for $19.9 million. An unknown buyer has now signed a contract to buy the property for just under $20 million, the New York Post reported.
The Quogue Village home features seven bedrooms, seven bathrooms and spans 10,644 square feet. The house was designed by architect Eugene Futterman for Lucci and her Austrian businessman husband, Helmut Huber, in 1989. It has numerous decks, a nautical-themed media room and a walkway that leads directly to the ocean.
In 2008, Lucci told Hamptons Magazine that she was not immediately drawn to Southampton. “My husband and my friends had to convince me of the area,” Lucci said. “Looking back, it’s one of the best things I’ve ever done.” The property at 20 Dune Road is on a 1.4 acre lot, and boasts 150 feet of ocean frontage.
