Tamir Shemesh, one of the Corcoran Group’s top-producing brokers, is no longer with the firm following a dispute with senior management, multiple sources told The Real Deal.

The circumstances surrounding his departure from the brokerage were not clear. While some said he’d been asked to leave the company, he intimated that he felt the decision was mutual.

“There were a few things we were not in agreement on, so we decided to part ways,” he told TRD.

A spokesperson for Corcoran declined to comment.

Shemesh, a native of Israel who attended New York University, joined the company from Douglas Elliman with his team in 2011.

At Corcoran, he represented several new development projects, including XOCO 325, DDG’s 21-unit condominium at 325 West Broadway, and 12 Warren Street, its 13-unit condo in Tribeca. Shemesh also represented Toll Brothers’ 81-unit condominium at 400 Park Avenue South.  It wasn’t immediately clear if he will continue to work on those projects.

His deals this year include the $12 million sale of a penthouse apartment at Trump Place at 220 Riverside Boulevard. And his biggest deal ever came in 2013, when he represented the buyer of a $32.5 million unit at 15 Central Park West.

He placed number 37 on The Real Deal‘s list of the city’s top agents in 2016.
