Cards Against Humanity buys land, takes on Trump in one play

The company bought land along the U.S.-Mexico border to "save" America

Cards Against Humanity’s latest promotion forayed into real estate and politics. Known for running holiday promotions as practical jokes, the company previously ran promotions where they’ve sold nothing, manure and dug a hole in the ground, as the Architect’s Newspaper recalled.

This year, the promotion “Cards Against Humanity Saves America” promised a series of surprises to those you bought into the $15 limited-time sale, which is now sold out, with the first one being an illustrated map of land the company recently purchased along the U.S.-Mexico border.

“we’ve purchased a plot of vacant land on the border and retained a law firm specializing in eminent domain to make it as time-consuming and expensive as possible for the wall to get built,” according to the company’s statement.

Why did the Chicago-based company do it? Because “Donald Trump is a preposterous golem who is afraid of Mexicans. He is so afraid that he wants to build a twenty-billion dollar wall that everyone knows will accomplish nothing.” — E.K. Hudson
