Pink is now the new owner of a lavish Greenwich Village townhouse.
The pop superstar purchased the home at 125 West 11th Street in the Manhattan neighborhood for $21.5 million, the Wall Street Journal reported. The deal for the 22-foot-wide, 8,000-square-foot home breaks down to $2,688 per square foot.
The estate of painter Elizabeth Fonseca sold the townhouse where Fonseca and her husband, sculptor Gonzalo Fonseca, raised their four children, including author Isabel Fonseca. The home features a studio space with a trio of skylights and a 30-foot ceiling. There are five bedrooms and five and a half bathrooms.
The home, which dates to 1849, had been in the family for nearly seven decades and hit the market in September 2024 for $25 million. After it failed to sell at that price, the listing was knocked down to $21.5 million this past November.
Pink, known for her decades-long career as a sky-flying singer with a robust roster of hits, has said she would be moving from the West Coast so her daughter could study theater and live close to Broadway. New York City is also where “The Kelly Clarkson Show” is filmed; there’s been speculation that Pink could take Clarkson’s seat when the talk show ends later this year. She’s also hosting this year’s Tony Awards.
The singer could not be reached for comment by the Journal. Compass’ Nick Gavin and Mary Ellen Cashman held the listing.
While Pink’s deal is massive, it’s less than a third of a recently agreed-upon record-setting townhouse deal in the West Village.
Last month, a newly combined double-wide megamansion at 105-107 Bank Street in the West Village inked a signed contract for $70 million, which is poised to rank among the priciest deals ever achieved in downtown Manhattan. The Robert A.M. Stern-designed home is 13,000 square feet with six floors and six bedrooms and it was created from two historic townhouses, one of which was previously home to John Lennon and Yoko Ono.
