John Fogerty may be the old man down the road, but lookin’ out his front door, he wants a change.
The famed rock singer and former Creedence Clearwater Revival frontman is asking $9 million for his Encino mansion, according to the Los Angeles Times.
Fogerty bought the 9,000-square-foot home at 16701 Bajio Court for $6.75 million from film and television producer Michael Sugar. The house was two years old when he bought it in 2018 and undertook a complete renovation.
The backyard has a swimming pool and spa flanked by lounging areas. There is also a roof deck and an interior-exterior living room. The home has six bedrooms and eight bathrooms.
Fogerty’s home sits on about two-thirds of an acre. Matt and Josh Altman with Douglas Elliman have the listing.
Encino has seen a few big deals lately. Musician Meghan Trainor paid $6.6 million for a home in the neighborhood in late December.
L.A. Dodgers star Mookie Betts picked up a 9,300-square-foot property in November for $7.6 million and in May, NBA All-Star Chris Paul bought a newly built mansion there for $11.1 million.
