America’s sweetheart is pretty good at selling New York’s sweetest real estate.
Julia Roberts sold her penthouse unit at 45 West 10th Street in Greenwich Village, collecting $5.4 million from financier Nicolas de Croisset.
The 2,000-square-foot apartment – which features a terrace and a wood-burning fireplace – sold after just a few months on the market for nearly a million dollars above the original $4.5 million asking price.
Stribling & Associates’ Alexa Lambert and Marc Achilles handled the listing, the New York Observer reported.
The “Pelican Brief” and “Erin Brockovich” actress bought the unit in 2010 for $3.9 million. She owns a second penthouse in the city, at 7 Gramercy Park West, which came with with keys to Gramercy Park. [NYO] – Ariel Stulberg
