Anthony Vinciquerra, the chairman and CEO of Sony Pictures, and his ex-wife Toni Knight sold their Pacific Palisades home for $9.4 million.
The deal closed last week, according to listing sites. The buyer remains undisclosed.
The bright, Mediterranean-style home is located at 1452 Via Cresta, in a gated community. It’s 9,400 square feet, with six bedrooms, a library, wine cellar and solar panels; the property’s outdoor space also includes a lagoon-shaped pool and hot tub with an ocean view.
Vinciquerra and Knight, a television advertising veteran and the founder and CEO of the sales rep firm WorldLink Ventures, bought the place in 2005 for $5.6 million, according to records.
In July 2020, after 17 years of marriage, the couple announced they were initiating divorce proceedings, a possible catalyst for the home sale. They put the property on the market in September for $11.2 million, a price that was lowered the next month to $10 million.
Pacific Palisades has seen plenty of listings in that price range. In November, a mansion once owned by Arnold Schwarzenegger hit the market for $11 million. The same month, an hacienda-style estate owned by Hillary Swank was listed for $10.5 million.
Vinciquerra, a former top executive at Fox, was named CEO of Sony Pictures in 2017.
