Visitors to UrbanDigs’ website might notice a sudden infusion of listings in a couple of weeks. That’s because the real estate analytics company just started taking the Residential Listing Service feed directly from the Real Estate Board of New York.

The company is the latest to start using the syndication service, which launched in August. StreetEasy rival Realtor.com started using REBNY’s RLS that same month. According to REBNY, more than 100 consumer-facing websites are receiving a listing feed from the organization’s RLS, including Homes.com, the New York Times and The Real Deal.

Noah Rosenblatt, founder of UrbanDigs, said the listing portal will likely go live on the company’s website in two weeks or so. Thus far, six brokerages have elected to have their listings displayed on urbandigs.com, including Brown Harris Stevens, Compass, Stribling & Associates, Douglas Elliman, Simone Song Properties and City Connections Realty. UrbanDigs previously had some listings on its website (through database service Realplus), but they were geared toward agents rather than the general public.

After syndication started on REBNY’s RLS, several brokerages — including Compass, Stribling & Associates, Brown Harris Stevens, Town Residential, Warburg Realty, Leslie J. Garfield, Kleier Residential and Fox Residential, Bold New York and Tungsten – cut their direct feeds to StreetEasy. The Zillow-owned listing service ruffled some feathers when it introduced a $3 fee per day per rental listing on its site.

(Disclosure: The Real Deal also signed an agreement with REBNY to syndicate listings on its website.)
